Vacature Front end webdeveloper (32-40 hours)

Independer.nl strives to constantly adapt to the newest developments.  Therefore a lot of attention is given to IT quality and architecture.  Projects are worked on following an agile methodology (scrum), and we use Visual Studio 2010 and Team Foundation Server to support our development process.

As a front end developer you are jointly responsible for implementing complex and dynamic new front end controls used across the website.  You work in close collaboration with the .Net developers, IT architect and interaction designers to provide a fluid user interface that works across all major browsers (also mobile). When required you will also develop other .Net components for the platform. You also work closely with the webmaster to improve the quality of the user experience for existing controls already used on the site.

Your Profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in front end web development focusing on B2C ecommerce
• HBO work and think level
• Expert knowledge of CSS, HTML(5) and jQuery
• Working knowledge of .Net including ASP.Net and C#, Web services using Visual Studio 2010
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, Photoshop, Mobile Web Development and SEO techniques are an advantage
• Knowledge of and experience with MVC and scrum are an advantage
• Vision and power of persuasion
• Able to assess value of the latest techniques
• Affinity with business processes
